@michielma No, because the legal ownership of the gold you own via goldmoney or bullionvault is in your name, its not a liability as with unnallocated gold/silver accounts, its not a paper transaction as with the problematic etfs; gld/slv, and not held in bank deposit box; where they could use it as collateral to pay their debts. The gold is in your legal property, so if bullionvault or otherwise; the assesors or even Via Mat go bankrupt, the gold and silver is in my name. Am I correct?

Nothing beats having it in your hand. Having your name “TO” some bullion is great but if as you say the company goes bust they can and will of course agree 100% that it has your name on it. However they will also say you just can’t have it …. YET….

Hi GF40 – I know someone who has just bought a few sovereigns from a site called coinsinvestdirect I think the name is.
Anyway, they are expecting delivery this week sometime. I have no idea of how much invetory they have or stufflike that. Just letting you know.

Neither gold or silver is overpriced. Look at how nicely they have held steady despite the recent strength in the dollar. Demand is high. Prices will increase. Gold should be at $2,500 an ounce and silver should be close to $100 based on real inflation alone.
Gold and silver will be the biggest bubble ever……. ya after it goes to the moon in a few years.

@Raycheetah yup, I was told today by a manager at work and a co-worker that gold isn’t going up, no way. I said “that’s what people always say, and then it goes up, they’re wrong, and they’re broke, so you wait and see”. Had the opposite conversation with a cab driver more than once, his friends aren’t cabbies, they bought gold at 35/oz with school loans and he didn’t. Well, you know how history played out on their “nutso plan”.
