Silver and gold are always a good bet. Many people buy precious metal in times of poor economic conditions. These precious metal do not lose there value as readily as dollars. Thanks to cutlerylover‬‎ for his silver series. I have been a coin collector for many years, however, I have not been very active in the past 7 or 8 years. I am restarting my collection and including some of this silver bullion. In case of a total economic collapse of the United States this will still be viable tender and you will be able to trade it for goods and services. Since the dollar would be all but worthless it is good to have other currency available to barter with like seeds, ammo, food, water, and the thing people will need to survive. We all hope this never occurs in such case it will reside in one of my safes in a safe location. I typically do not but and sell at the highs and lows of the market. I will buy and hold until I really need it or I will eventually pass it down to my kids. Either way it’s good to have as a collectible and as an insurance policy against the unknown.
